Dialogue with Sarawak Youth on Continuing the Legacy of Fredoom and Hormany under the 1Malaysia Concept

This dialogue serves as a platform to engage the youth of Sarawak in discussing and understanding the importance of unity in order to continue the legacy of fredoom and harmony that have been built through the blood, sweat and tears of our forefathers. The objectives of this dialogue include :

• To engage the youth in understanding and safeguarding the freedom and harmony in the country: and
• To provide an avenue for the youth to discuss on current issues affecting their countr and their future

SMK Pending was represented by form upper six student. The participants were very happy to meet the Chief Minister and the other well known figure. They were also very satisfied with the explanation given by the representative from the goverment and related agencies.

Program Gotong Royong dan Kempen Anti Denggi

Program ini telah dianjurkan oleh PIBG yang diadakan pada 6.2.2010. Program ini melibatkan pelajar, ibu bapa, guru sesi pagi sahaja bersama pembantu tadbir dan pekerja kebersihan sekolah. Pihak bomba dari Padungan juga dijemput untuk menjayakan projek ini. Program ini sebenarnya untuk mencegah penyakit Denggi disamping membersihkan kawasan sekolah bagi mencegah pembiakan nyamuk Aedes. Kesemua yang terlibat dalam program ini diberi makanan setelah selesai menjalankan aktiviti gotong royong.

Program Jati Diri

Program Jati Diri ini telah diadakan pada 29 Januari 2010. Program ini dikendalikan oleh Swinburn Kuching yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keyakinan diri pelajar dan persediaan untuk hadapi SPM. Selain itu ia bertujuan untuk menentukan matlamat masa depan pelajar

SMK Pending diserang sekumpulan penyengat

Berita menggemparkan apabila sekumpulan penyengat telah membuat sarang di Blok C bangunan sekolah SMK Pending. Bagaimanapun tidak ada serangan yang berlaku. Pihak pentadbir telah memanggil mereka yang berkenaan untuk membuang sarang penyengat itu. Seramai 3 orang telah datang bagi menghalau dan membuang sarang penyengat itu. Semua pelajar yang berada di blog berkenaan diarah pergi ke Dewan untuk keselamatan. Bagaimanapun operasi ini tidak mengambil masa yang panjang
