SMK Pending team consisted of 31 choral speakers and a conductor that was Nabilah Syazwani Bt. Norasman (2A). They were from the lower secondary. Teachersin-charge were Mdm. Marylene Placid, Mdm. Nenny Jimmy and Mr. Stanley Brenstan. The team's title was Thank You, Teacher. There were 14 schools participated in the competition. The chief of judge made overall comments for all participating teams on eights items:
1. Pronunciation
2. Improve on the scripts
3. Students should relax when they perform
4. Adhere to the time allocated for each team
5. Improve on variation of tones
6. Rhytmn and timing
7. Unison/synchronise in their performance
8. Choral speakers' attire should be in school uniform – pinafore or baju kurung. An extraordinary experience and valuable knowledge for our students as they observed performances from other schools. Eventhough the team did not win, they were so determine to improve and will meticulously plan in their upcoming performance in near future, little strokes fell great oaks.
