The English Language Department organised an in-house training of HOTS for all the English teachers on Saturday, 8th February 2014 in the computer lab. The training was conducted by Mdm Sng Mee Siong who had attended the course earlier on. A total of 16 morning and afternoon session teachers attended the training.
The teachers were introduced to HOTS and its implementation in lessons and examinations. It was then followed by a task where teachers were sorted into four groups to come up with HOTS questions. At the end, the groups presented their materials and constructive feedback and comments were offered to enrich the outcomes. All the materials constructed would be kept for future use.
